Every recording on FoxShare is minted exactly once. Not one of ten thousand — the only one. The certificate says who holds it, and there is no second copy to compete with.

Bid at auction, auction what you have outgrown. The certificate goes with the card, so what changes hands is the real one rather than a copy of it.

Playback belongs to the holder
A locked card shows its waveform and a short degraded preview. Hold it and the sound is yours, at full quality, to use as an alert or a sting or nothing at all.
How it works
A creator records five seconds
A door, a bell, a laugh, a broken pedal. They pick a rank for it and mint it. That mint creates one card and hands it to nobody — creators keep no stock and sell nothing out of a drawer.
You take it off the market
The card is on the shelf until somebody claims it. There is no second one waiting behind it, so the first person to want it is the only person who can have it.
It carries its certificate
The certificate travels with the card and says what it is and who holds it now. Sell it on and the creator still takes a royalty.
